Heritage Society

The Heritage Society welcomes those generous individuals who have included the University of Minnesota in their estate or financial plans. The Heritage Society is one of six giving societies within the Presidents Club — the University of Minnesota's donor recognition program — and the only one associated with future gifts.

The Heritage Society recognizes donors publicly for their extraordinary support of education, research, and service programs at the University of Minnesota. Members are invited to attend the annual Heritage Society banquet, sponsored jointly by the Minnesota Medical Foundation and University of Minnesota Foundation.

Donors who give to health-related programs through the Minnesota Medical Foundation are listed on the foundation's Wall of Honor located in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building in the Academic Health Center. New Heritage Society members are also invited to join University of Minnesota President Robert Bruininks in a semi-annual recognition event at Eastcliff, his official residence.
