Corporate and Foundation Giving
Funding from corporations and foundations helps maintain the University of Minnesota Medical School and School of Public Health’s excellence, and directly impacts its exceptional students, faculty, and programs.
The Minnesota Medical Foundation (MMF) can help identify charitable giving opportunities across the campus and facilitate introductions with key faculty and campus leadership.
MMF can help faculty and staff members who would like to request philanthropic funding from a corporation or foundation. We can help to identify potential funding agencies and to craft and submit proposals that align with the University’s fundraising strategies.
Faculty and staff members who would like to request philanthropic funding from a corporation or foundation should talk to MMF before making any contact with the potential funder. Major corporations and foundations are often tied to multiple units or to institutional priorities. Upon learning of your project, we will review the relationship with that organization and strategize making the contact.
